A responsible approach

Menzies Nunn Limited recognises that a responsible commercial approach to the various environmental issues resulting from its activities is essential to its long-term success and that of its customers.

Paper

Our papers are sourced, without exception, from sustainable well-managed forests and the companies that supply them must prove they meet European environmental legislation. Our customers can be assured that, from tree to distribution, every consideration for the environment is made. Moreover due to the environmentally friendly bleaching process employed, they are ECF (Elemental Chlorine Free).

Ink and Chemicals

We use only vegetable-based inks and our chemical usage is kept to the absolute minimum e.g. our CTP system is completely chemistry free,the plates requiring only a simple water wash after imaging.

Recycling

Our waste paper and ink are recycled; as are our wooden pallets, polythene wrappers, ink tins, plates and corrugated cartons. Prevention, however, is still better than cure and we will continue to streamline all processes to ensure the absolute minimum waste of raw materials and consumables.
